In February 2025, Tech-enhanced Life, PBC spun out some its activities into a new venture called Longevity Explorers LLC.
The Future
Going forward, Tech-enhanced Life, PBC will focus on the portion of its prior activities that involve helping companies develop better products to help older adults. This is an area in which we have been active since 2016. It typically involves harnessing the expertise of older adults themselves to help companies understand the needs of this demographic, brainstorm new solutions, and evaluate product ideas and prototypes.
Going forward, Longevity Explorers LLC will take over the research and publishing activities previously carried out by Tech-enhanced Life, PBC. This means that our focus on researching, learning, and sharing ideas and product evaluations with older adults and their caregivers will henceforth be the responsibility of Longevity Explorers LLC.
- As part of this new organizational division of responsibilities, this website (www.techenhancedlife.com) is now owned by Longevity Explorers LLC , and will be operated by Longevity Explorers LLC going forward.
- The monthly newsletter that goes out to members of our community (hosted on Substack at https://techenhancedlife.substack.com/) will also be owned and operated by Longevity Explorers LLC going forward.
Note that Tech-enhanced Life, PBC and Longevity Explorers LLC are separate and distinct companies, although they plan to collaborate on some projects.

Why?
We are making this change to reflect some changes in the way we now see the future of the two portions of what we have done historically. And, to make things a bit simpler.

Longevity Explorers LLC plans to keep producing the sort of content we have become known for in the past. If you are a reader of the Longevity Explorer / Tech-enhanced Life substack, you will likely not notice a change.

This Tech-enhanced Life website contains a wealth of information, and we will be maintaining it as an archive of prior activities and explorations. However we will likely use the Substack newsletter as our primary way to share our research.
Going forward, we expect most of our learnings and ideas and opinions will be shared via our Newsletter on Substack.
