Abstract
Whether it’s hearing, vision, mobility, or mental sharpness, a gradual decline in ability to function at our peak comes to us all. But what if technology could be developed that would put off the day when such decline starts to impact our daily life?
In his talk, Dr. Caro will describe why this seems both realistic, and imminent. And he will describe an experimental “co-creation community” — designed to accelerate the emergence of these novel products by leveraging the insights, years of accumulated wisdom, and enthusiasm of seniors themselves.
The Longevity Collective (a Tech-enhanced Life initiative) hopes to pilot one of the first Co-creation circles in Marin starting soon. If you are interested in technology, have ideas on how to help make life easier or just want to participate in some interesting conversation, please come and learn about it, and contribute your thoughts and ideas to our movement.
