Vision Problems: TV Action When Not Talking

Problem Description

 

Since my Mom’s vision is failing, she has a hard time understanding what is happening in a TV show when the actors are not speaking, In some shows there are long dramatic pauses or just action noises.

    Hello Delores,

    If you are watching Netflix, pause the video:

    – Scroll up to the Audio & Subtitles icon

    – Uncheck "Audio Description"

     

    If you are watching Prime Video:

    – Push Home
    – Scroll across to Settings and push the Select button
    – Scroll down and over to Accessibility and push the Select button
    – Scroll down to Audio Descriptions and push the Select button

    Turn off Audio Description
